Red and Vert

Munchkin has been teething up a storm, so there have been some seriously sleepless nights around these parts. Actually, teething doesn’t really cover it. Teething, sinuses, sleep training and yet another sleep regression have all been conspiring to make sure rest is hard to come by. Oh, and did I mention he’s crawling? Yeah, there’s that too.

Sweater: Amour Vert / Jeans: 7 For All Mankind / Scarf: Lululemon /
Shoes: Steve Madden / Purse: Street Level

It was a warmer day, but I still went with cozy loose layers. I’m always cold when I’m tired. It was just a trip to the pharmacy, so there was no real need to impress anyone.

I’m experimenting with pinning the sweater into narrower silhouettes at the moment. I’m liking a more tapered pinning at the moment rather than straight up and down, but I haven’t settled on how much of a taper I want. I do know I need to take up the underarms still though.

I keep hoping those little teeth will pop through so it’ll stop hurting him, but I know we have years of this ahead of us. For now, he’s still my little toothless wonder. A crawling toothless wonder.

  1. Hope you get some sleep soon. In a few more months I will be in the same boat πŸ™‚
It’s great that you have stayed active with your style and wardrobe. I lost my way a little after giving birth 2 months ago so I’m in the process of adding a few items to my wardrobe now. I can’t wait to lose the baby weight so that some of my old clothes start to fit again.

Thanks. I hope your little one sleeps for you as well! The first two months are so hard, and it can take a little while for the weight to come back off, so please don’t be discouraged by it. It took me 8 months to get back to my pre pregnancy weight, and even now some of my clothes still don’t fit. It is still exciting when you can fit back into some of them though, and it’s fun rediscovering old favourites. I hope motherhood in general is treating you well πŸ™‚

      • Thanks πŸ™‚ Did I type 2 months? I meant 3 months, that’s my baby brain in full swing lol! Motherhood is going well, it has it’s challenging moments but it is very rewarding at the same time πŸ™‚

  2. He sounds active… you are in for it. πŸ™‚

I love the red pops against the stripes..

I’m so, so in for it. I’m glad we baby proofed an area of the house for him to freely play in. He’s zipping all over the place now!

Thanks πŸ™‚ I’m a fan of the red and stripe combo too.
